UNIVERSAL DESIGN FOR LEARNING
Community of Practice in Newfoundland & Labrador
Resources to Support Your UDL Practice
Start small, think big: Resources for every step of your UDL journey.
Welcome to the Resource Hub for the Universal Design for Learning Community of Practice in Newfoundland and Labrador. This space is designed to help members deepen their understanding of UDL and bring inclusive practices into their classrooms, programs, and policies.
Here, you’ll find a range of practical, research-informed resources that reflect the voices and needs of educators across NL. Whether you're just beginning to explore UDL or looking for ways to strengthen existing efforts, these tools can help you reflect, plan, and take action.
Our resources are organized into three key areas:
-
UDL Toolkit – A curated set of tools, templates, checklists, and planning guides to help you apply UDL principles in real-world teaching and learning environments.
-
Online Library – A growing collection of scholarly and practice-based resources, including open-access research, articles, and reports shared through our Google Drive and Zotero collections.
-
eLearning Modules – Free, flexible e-learning modules that introduce UDL concepts and practices in accessible, interactive formats you can complete on your own time.
We encourage you to explore these resources, adapt them to your own context, and share them with others. Our goal is to build a vibrant, collaborative community committed to equity, access, and inclusion in post-secondary education across Newfoundland and Labrador.
