About the event

This seminar invites educators to step inside classrooms through the voices of students themselves—voices that are honest, reflective, and not always glowing. Grounded in real classroom stories from Grades 6–12, The View From Within explores how UDL comes alive (or falls flat) depending on the culture we design, the agency we foster, and the guidance we provide.

We acknowledge that our work takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of Indigenous Peoples across Turtle Island. In Newfoundland and Labrador, this includes the ancestral territory of the Beothuk and the homelands of the Mi’kmaq, Innu, Inuit, and Métis. We honour their histories and ongoing relationships to these lands.
