About the event

Offered as part of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Community of Practice, this session—facilitated by the Employment Services team at Stella’s Circle, explores how Universal Design for Learning can create spaces where all students—especially those from marginalized communities—feel seen, valued, and supported. This session will offer practical strategies to design learning environments that foster belonging, agency, and equity. Participants will leave with tools to center connection in their teaching while reducing barriers to participation and success.

We acknowledge that our work takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of Indigenous Peoples across Turtle Island. In Newfoundland and Labrador, this includes the ancestral territory of the Beothuk and the homelands of the Mi’kmaq, Innu, Inuit, and Métis. We honour their histories and ongoing relationships to these lands.
