About the event

Join us for a thoughtful conversation about creating learning spaces where trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse folks feel genuinely seen, valued, and included. Together, we’ll explore how our identities shape the ways we engage with and make meaning from learning. This session invites reflection on the importance of centering gender diversity within Universal Design for Learning and how embracing the whole person can transform how we approach education and build community. It’s a welcoming space to connect, learn, and grow alongside others.

We acknowledge that our work takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of Indigenous Peoples across Turtle Island. In Newfoundland and Labrador, this includes the ancestral territory of the Beothuk and the homelands of the Mi’kmaq, Innu, Inuit, and Métis. We honour their histories and ongoing relationships to these lands.
